This Young Hispanic Women -- Just Down from Me
(Vs 1)Â Â Â Â My home - - El Paso Texas - - which lies in the far west
And stands on the Rio Grande "Rio Bravo Del Norte" across
The border from Chihuahua Mexico - - just down from me - -
Lives this young Hispanic women and her two children they
Left their hom Chihuahua Mexico for a better life seven years today
Â
(C)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Might have been a dream - - but seemed as if a
Bulb lit - - - and saw that halo above my head - -
               Frozed to my bed -- couldn't move -- couldn't speak --
Just can't explain -- just a soft voice -- to help that
Family in need - - this young Hispanic women -- just down from me
Â
(Vs 2)Â Â Â Â this young Hispanic women -- lost her husband -- now two years
He loved his children very much -- did everything he could
To bring-up and raise them the way he should -- the hardest
Thing for me - - was that Christmas day I observed
And surely the siblings did not deserve
Â
(Vs 3)Â Â Â Â With Daddy being gone --and still could see the love and smiles
Every day -- while daddy was here -- my heart was broken
At that time - - wishing I could bring back the
Normality that they once had as a loving
               Family back to reality
Â
(C)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Might have been a dream - - but seemed as if a
Bulb lit - - - and saw that halo above my head - -
              Frozed to my bed -- couldn't move -- couldn't speak --
Just can't explain -- just a soft voice -- to help that
Family in need - - this young Hispanic women -- just down from me
Â
(Vs 4)Â Â Â Â So every day I'm thinking of what can I do -- for this
Young Hispanic women and thise two children ages 3 and 5
The mother works two jobs -- just to make ends meet --always
Thinking of the children -- raising the besty way she can - - and
Always on my mind to help anyway I can especially on Christmas Day
Â
(C) Â Â Â Â Â Might have been a dream - - but seemed as if a
Bulb lit - - - and saw that halo above my head - -
               Frozed to my bed -- couldn't move -- couldn't speak --
