(Vs 1)     the feeling of intense grief - helplessness and painful

               Searching for why -- coping with this bad trauma - thinking

               Day after Day - how can I go on without my true love - and

               Now comes my "Story" - - on a wet snowy "Christmas Eve"

               Walking alone on main street here at home -dark and wet but        

               Enjoying all the decorations around the town

               A "Big Stick" came "face to face" stopped and said our   hello's

              He carved and camouflaged the way he wanted it - and always told me - -

              Could be used for support or defense - always be on the alert and remember

               This "Stay Safe" if you know what I mean - - and with that being said - I now walk

               Everyday with his stick - - cause I know what he means

(Vs 5)     we both were facing the same loss - -  our soul mates - - now no longer with us -

              But the day we met - - I can say - - this person with

              Comfort I can lean on - talk with - and feel

              Good again - - both of us trying to move on with

              Our lives - - I feel now - - I found my real true

              Friendship - - that brought our family's together
